So fond of this arrangement comprised of Eryngium, Acacia leaves, Iris blades, Schinus berries, Eucalyptus pods, Phormium seed pods, and for the purple topper, a panicle of Palm inflorescence-gorgeous!
Same materials as above with added dried and colored Protea leaves, lichen, and Spanish Moss. These are part of a "New Wave" series I am working on using many plant parts.
Material sourcing in the neighborhood. I never leave home without a pair of clippers, and am quite comfortable asking people if I can cut specimens from their yard. People are generally bemused, sometimes confused, but I simply explain that I am in a painting class and need some nice materials to comprise a setting for a still life painting.
