After spending an amazing Holiday weekend with friends, I was eager to get back to work this morning. The morning, it appeared, was not so eager to greet me. My trepidations about the day began when my bike was vandalized at the flower market, leaving it unrideable. I schlepped about twenty pounds of flowers home by foot, getting seven arrangements into water, and then returned to pick up the bike-thankfully, unmolested. I never would have predicted that later in the morning- after several fresh arrangements were made and were being carried into my elevator, that my keys would slip from my hand and fall down the elevator shaft. Well, it actually happened. The F word was forcefully muttered-and it was not "flower."
Despite a dramatic morning, these arrangements came out looking fresh as a daisy!
